Treatment Overview

CryoDose V Cones

  1. Choose a dosing cone approximately 1mm larger than the lesion.
  2. Place cone over lesion. Hold canister at 45º angle and gently squeeze trigger to spray approximately 1/8”-1/4” of cryogen against inside of cone. Do not spray straight down. 1/8” fill lines on dosing cone will assist you in precise treatment.
  3. Cryogen evaporates in 20-40 seconds; maintain position of cone until evaporation is complete.
  4. If desired, a second freeze may be administered after a 45-60 second thaw is completed.

  2. Gently squeeze trigger for approximately 3-6 seconds to saturate bud until a drip is visible
  3. Remove bud and point downward for approximately 15-20 seconds so bud will reach optimal freezing temperature (CryoDose V -70°C, CryoDose H -55°C).
  4. Refer to dose timing chart for individual lesion types and dosage times.
  5. Allow 45-60 seconds for thawing process to be completed before touching lesion.
  6. If desired, a second freeze may be administered after thaw is completed.

PRECAUTIONS: Do not spray in eyes. Do not use this product on patients with diabetes, poor circulation, or insensitive skin. When freezing localized tissue, apply petroleum jelly to protect adjacent skin areas. Patients may experience pain during thawing. Freezing may lower local resistance to infection and delay healing. Discharging too much refrigerant may alter skin pigmentation. Do not use on large areas of damaged skin, puncture wounds, animal bites or serious wounds. Apply only to intact mucous membranes. Do not use on genital mucous membranes. ADVERSE REACTIONS: Freezing can potentially alter skin pigmentation. If skin irritation develops, discontinue use. WARNING: For external use only.
